Frequently asked questions

The questions corporate buyers ask most, with short, clear answers. If your question isn't here, let's answer it on a call.

Where does your data come from?
Copernicus Sentinel-1 (radar) and Sentinel-2 (optical) satellites, Landsat thermal observation, multi-year climate reanalysis, global soil databases and a digital elevation model. On the field side, DronGelsin's drone and ground verification is in play. See our methodology page for detail.
Where do you get parcel boundaries? Can we upload our own parcel list?
There is a ready base of 20M+ parcels across 81 provinces; parcels not in the pool, or added later, are brought into the same framework. You can upload your own parcel list as polygons/GeoJSON.
What is your relationship with ÇKS / TARSİM data?
We are not an official data provider for ÇKS or TARSİM. We can work with parcel/policy data from these systems and discuss integration on a per-institution basis; but our analyses rest on independent satellite, climate and soil data.
How do you measure and report your accuracy?
Through field validation (DronGelsin) and cross-validation (radar ↔ optical, neighboring parcel, past season). Today we offer 80%+ classification accuracy for 20 crops; every output arrives with a confidence level. The method and limits are open on the methodology page.
How is our data processed under KVKK?
The data controller is AKD Havacılık Tarım Haritacılık Arge Yayıncılık Pazarlama Sanayi Tic. Ltd. Şti. Field data (coordinates, GeoJSON) is not transferred to third-party services; remote-sensing processing runs on our own infrastructure. See the KVKK privacy notice for detail.
Is there an API? Is on-premise installation possible?
The analyses produced can be taken as PDF, Excel, DOCX, API and dashboard; the API and export are part of the product line. On-premise or private-cloud installation is assessed based on your scope.
How are the reports used in a TSRS / IFRS S2 audit process?
Tarımus feeds directly into land-based physical climate-risk disclosures, and every finding is auditable down to its source (Evidence Vault). Your compliance team uses the report directly instead of rebuilding it.
Which outputs do you provide for EUDR due diligence?
Parcel boundary and polygon (geolocation), land use and change detection, forest-cover comparison against the 31 December 2020 baseline, and a satellite-based deforestation-free indicator. These feed your due diligence statement.
How does pricing work?
Three models: single analysis per parcel, a regional/portfolio license, and an annual enterprise subscription. We prepare a proposal based on your scope; the first pilot report is free.
How does the pilot process proceed, and how long does it take?
We start with a free preliminary study: you see the first output on your own parcel samples before the pilot. Then comes a fixed-price, narrow-scope pilot; as results become visible, the same framework extends to a wider portfolio.
